Michigan Liquor Orderer is a mobile application designed to streamline the inventory replenishment process for liquor stores across Michigan. While it's intended to facilitate ordering, its primary function is to automate and expedite the process of selecting and submitting product orders, reducing the manual effort involved in cataloging individual items.

Traditionally, staff manually compile a list of required products, noting quantities and specific order codes, then transcribe this information into an ordering system. This method is prone to errors and can be time-consuming. The application seeks to address these inefficiencies by offering several key features:

• Automatic Label Recognition: Utilizing Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Machine Learning, users can quickly scan shelf tags by simply aiming their device’s camera at a label. The app extracts the relevant liquor code and prompts for quantity input, minimizing manual data entry.
• List Management: For frequently ordered items, users can scan or manually input products once, then save these as a reusable list. Future orders can be placed swiftly by selecting pre-saved lists with minimal interaction.
• Auto Save Functionality: Progress is preserved even if the app is closed mid-process, allowing users to resume their order without losing data.
• Order Completion Notification: An audible alert signals when the order has been successfully processed, ensuring staff are aware of completion without needing to monitor the screen continuously.
